International Appointments Bulletin: 1 May 2025

Chief of the Staff Commissioner Edward Hill shares the latest appointments bulletin from International Headquarters.

It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions proposed by the International Appointments Board and agreed by the General.

Effective May 2025

Colonels Friday and Glory Ayanam, officers of the Nigeria Territory, currently serving as Territorial Leaders in the Nigeria Territory, will be promoted to the rank of commissioner; Colonel Friday Ayanam on 1 May 2025 and Colonel Glory Ayanam on 2 May 2025. 

Colonels Daniel and Anne Kiama, officers of the Kenya East Territory, currently serving as Territorial Leaders in the Kenya East Territory, will be promoted to the rank of commissioner; Colonel Anne Kiama on 3 May 2025 and Colonel Daniel Kiama on 4 May 2025. 

Colonels Geoff and Kalie Webb, officers of the Australia Territory, currently serving as Territorial Leaders in the Kenya West Territory, will be promoted to the rank of commissioner; Colonel Geoff Webb on 5 May 2025 and Colonel Kalie Webb on 6 May 2025.

Effective 1 August 2025

Lieut-Colonel Sandra Stokes, an officer of the Canada and Bermuda Territory currently serving as Assistant Chief Secretary (Administration), International Headquarters, is appointed as Territorial Commander, Denmark and Greenland Territory. She will succeed Lieut-Colonel Jan Risan, who, along with Lieut-Colonel Kjerstie Risan, will return to their home territory. Lieut-Colonel Jan Risan, working remotely, will take an appointment at International Headquarters, and Lieut-Colonel Kjersti Risan will take an appointment in the Norway, Iceland and The Faeroes Territory. 

Majors Tero and Metti Saajoranta, officers of the Finland and Estonia Territory, currently serving respectively as Head of Programme/Corps Officer and Assistant Programme Secretary/Corps Officer, Finland and Estonia Territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Finland and Estonia Territory.
