International Appointments Bulletin: 16 October 2025

Chief of the Staff Commissioner Edward Hill shares the latest appointments bulletin from International Headquarters.

It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions proposed by the International Appointments Board and agreed by the General.

Effective 16 October 2025

Lieut-Colonels Ian and Elisabeth Gainsford, officers of the New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Secretary for Mission and Territorial Secretary for Spiritual Life Development in that territory, are appointed as Directors, International Social Justice Commission-Designates, effective 1 March 2026, to become Directors, International Social Justice Commission, effective 1 April 2026. They will succeed Colonel Wendy Swan, who will take up new appointment responsibilities in her home territory.
