International Appointments Bulletin: 30 June 2022

Chief of the Staff Commissioner Lyndon Buckingham shares the latest appointments bulletin from International Headquarters.

It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions proposed by the International Appointments Board and agreed by the General.

Effective 1 October 2022

COLONELS SETH AND JANET APPEATENG, officers of the Ghana Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Tanzania Territory, are appointed as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Ghana Territory. They will be succeeding Colonels Samuel and Hagar Amponsah, who will be retiring from active service.

LIEUT-COLONELS SAMUEL AND MARY MKAMI, officers of the Tanzania Territory currently serving respectively as Officer Commanding and Command President of Women’s Ministries, Liberia and Sierra Leone Command, are appointed as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Tanzania Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.

LIEUT-COLONELS LUKA AND RASOA KHAYUMBI, officers of the Kenya West Territory currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in that territory, are appointed as Officer Commanding and Command President of Women’s Ministries, Liberia and Sierra Leone Command.

LIEUT-COLONELS DANIEL AND NOLEGA IMBIAKHA, officers of the Kenya West Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Secretary for Personnel and TJLS/CCM Secretary/Let’s Talk Coordinator in that territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Kenya West Territory.

LIEUT-COLONELS GRAÇIA AND LYDIA MATONDO, officers of the Democratic Republic of Congo Territory currently serving respectively as Officer Commanding and Command President of Women’s Ministries in the Angola Command, are appointed as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Democratic Republic of Congo Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel. They will succeed Colonels Daniel and Arschette Moukoko, who will be retiring from active service.

LIEUT-COLONELS STEPHEN AND THERESA MALINS, officers of the Southern Africa Territory currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Sri Lanka Territory, are appointed as Officer Commanding and Command President of Women’s Ministries, Angola Command.

LIEUT-COLONELS IMRAN SABIR AND NIGHAT IMRAN, officers of the Pakistan Territory currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in that territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Sri Lanka Territory.

MAJORS SAFDAR IQBAL AND ASIA SAFDAR, officers of the Pakistan Territory currently serving respectively as Divisional Commander and Divisional Director of Women’s Ministries, Faisalabad Division, in that territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Pakistan Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieut-colonel.

Effective 1 November 2022

LIEUT-COLONEL HARY HARAN, an officer of the Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory currently serving as Chief Secretary in that territory, is appointed as Territorial Commander, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory. He will take up his new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel. He will succeed Colonel Rodney Walters who, along with Colonel Wendy Walters, will be taking up new appointment responsibilities in their home territory of Australia following 10 years of international leadership service.

LIEUT-COLONELS KYLE AND LISA SMITH, officers of the USA Western Territory currently serving respectively as Territorial Secretary for Communications and Territorial Secretary for Program in that territory, are appointed as Chief Secretary and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory.
