Riverbank is a place for women of all ages to gather together and encounter God in worship, engage in Christian teaching and explore our God-given potential.
Join the Riverbank 2022 Women’s Conference (formerly Women and God weekend) on 10-12 June at a new venue: The Slate Conference Centre at Warwick University in Coventry.
- Encounter God in worship
- Engage in Christian teaching
- Explore our God given potential
Registration for Riverbank and accommodation will take place from 3pm on Friday 10 June and the event will end at 1pm after lunch on Sunday.
All main sessions will be BSL interpreted.
Theme and guests
The conference theme for 2022 is 'Just imagine!’ and will lead us to imagine, and in some cases reimagine, what God wants to accomplish through Christian women in the twenty-first century.
There will be time to chat, worship, reflect, eat, imagine and reimagine, fundraise through a Helping-Hand ‘1 in 3 challenge’, build and rebuild relationships with familiar friends and new ones too and much more.
We have some amazing guests lined up, including:
- Lou Fellingham - worship leader for the weekend
- Major Kathy Betteridge, Director of Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery, The Salvation Army
- Bekah Legg, CEO of Restored Christian Domestic Abuse charity
- Rachel Turner, Bible Reading Fellowship
- Major David Betteridge, Director of Family Ministries, The Salvation Army
They will be unpacking the Ephesians 3:20:
Just imagine:
- Family
- Fullness
- Far more

About Riverbank
When Paul and Timothy arrived in the city of Philippi, they set off to find the men with whom they could share the good news of Jesus, but instead encountered the first ‘Women’s Fellowship’ recorded in the New Testament!
A group of Jewish women and Gentile converts to Judaism were gathered at the Riverbank. Lydia, a business woman dealing in luxurious purple cloth was among them. As she listened to Paul and Timothy’s teaching, God opened her heart, she was baptised and her life transformed.
