Who is Jesus?

At the heart of Christmas is the birth of Jesus, who is both fully God and fully human. Jesus came to live on Earth so that people could see and know God first hand (John 1:14). Christians believe Jesus came down to bring gifts from God – love, forgiveness and new life. These gifts are freely available for everyone, including you.

A Christmas prayer

If you’re ready to take a step toward knowing Jesus, pray this simple prayer:

Dear God,

This Christmas, thank you for the light that shines in the darkness and the gift of your love that never gives up.

I know I haven’t always lived in ways that reflect kindness or peace, and I’m sorry. Please forgive me and help me to live a better life in the future.

Thank you for Jesus, born to bring hope, peace, love and joy. I want to know him more and follow his way.

Amen
