Domestic Abuse Response

Enabling corps and local expressions to support victims of domestic abuse and set up a Beacon Church.
Family Ministries is partnering with the Christian charity Restored to build a network of churches standing together against domestic abuse. These churches are called Beacons, designed to reflect God’s love by offering a safe space and journeying with survivors toward healing, hope and restoration.
Each Beacon Church responds in its own way, shaped by its calling and capacity.
Beacon Churches may focus on:
- Prayer ministry for victims and survivors
- Practical support for survivors and their families
- Hosting local domestic abuse support services
- Listening and journeying with survivors, empowering them to make their own choices
- Facilitating Christian domestic abuse recovery programmes
