Hebrews 10:24-25 says, ‘And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together… but encouraging one another’. The challenge lies in not only building community, but in setting the culture of an honest, non-judgemental, supportive, Christ-centred community.

Running a regular Alpha course in your corps will help to build Christ-centred community as it creates a safe, non-judgemental space to explore faith together and creates a culture of invitation.

The Bible Society's Romans Course will help to build Christ-centred community as people of all ages and faith levels come together to study ten key themes of the letter and discuss how to apply these to their own lives. Honest discipleship is encouraged and biblically supported as they ask questions such as 'if God is sovereign, what is our role?'

This series will deepen understanding of the over-arching story of the Bible, and help people to engage in great conversation. This equipping will help people to see how biblical themes are still relevant to us in modern society and support each other on this journey of application.
