9:38: Pray for future leaders
The Candidates Unit has launched 9:38 – a prayer initiative inspired by Matthew 9:38: ‘Ask the Lord of the harvest … to send out workers into his harvest field.’
The invitation is simple. Each day, at 9.38am, stop and pray for future leaders of The Salvation Army, that God would send out people into his mission field. Set a reminder and, wherever you are, pray!
Who are we praying for?
- For those called to be spiritual leaders
- For those nearing or in retirement as they discern where they are called to serve
- For those living out Jesus in their workplaces
- For families called to be like Jesus in school, college and their communities.
