I believe in God and the power of prayer. I prayed I would become head boy at school. I had doubts, but God listened and now I am head boy in my school. I thank God for my life, my family, my friends. I want to be closer to God, learn more about him and be the good boy God wants me to be. I’m proud to say my church is The Salvation Army, because I love it here. Like the song says: ‘This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine!’ I hope I’ll be God’s little light shining.
Chloe, 10
At dawn, as the first light stretches across the quiet hills, Jesus shines. Not in blinding glory, but in a gentle, steady radiance that warms everything it touches. His presence feels like peace and forgiveness.
Gael, 12
In a crowded school, a shy student named Caelan noticed a classmate being bullied. Overcoming his fear, he stood up for him, telling the bullies to stop. His act of courage inspired others, and the bullying ceased. Through his bravery and compassion, Caelan brought safety and kindness to his school, embodying the love and justice that Jesus represents and, in doing so, allowed the light of Jesus to shine through him.
