An online conference designed to increase confidence in using digital tools, techniques and technologies to support The Salvation Army's mission.

What is DigiFest?

DigiFest is a conference hosted by the digital team at THQ. We want to give teams at The Salvation Army the opportunity to develop their understanding of how to use digital tools, techniques and technologies, and to learn about the support that's available.

An online pilot event took place on Wednesday 22 October 2025 and recordings are now available to watch – please see below.

For anyone interested in digital at The Salvation Army

The morning session was an opportunity to hear about the Army’s first Digital Roadmap, a territorial strategy for how digital can support the mission of The Salvation Army.

Peter Jacobs (Interim Head of Digital, Maternity Cover) discussed the five pillars of the roadmap, which are rooted in faith, frontline mission, engagement with our external audiences and innovation.

Attendees were invited to ask questions and reflect on how the Digital Roadmap could inspire or support their context.

Tailored to corps leaders and teams involved in local digital ministry and communications

In this session, we dived into how web, email, and social media channels can be used to strengthen community services, support discipleship and evangelism, improve communication and amplify impact on the frontline.

Attendees were given examples of digital mission in action and practical insights from teams already putting digital tools to work.
