No Faith in Fossil Fuels Vigil for Climate Justice

The vigil is open to all, regardless of religious practice. The week will start with an ecumenical service in the vicinity of parliament on Ash Wednesday, and conclude with a service outside Downing Street ten days later. 

For those connected to The Salvation Army, the vigil provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with its historic roots of public witness and protest.

Booking is required via Eventbrite due to limited capacity at the church – it will be standing only for the service. Seating can be provided for those that have access requirements – please email Jess Hall via jhall@christian-aid if you require this.

After the service, you will be invited to make your way to parliament and meet at the vigil site.

Please book a prayer slot to ensure that there are enough people to cover 24 hours a day in Parliament Square.

The aim is to have three or more people overnight. If there aren't at least two people, the shift will not go ahead. Please download the PDF below for more information.
