Get SET!
Creating a Welcoming Parent and Toddler Group
Get SET! aims to support everyone involved in parent and toddler groups with practical advice and ways to help these groups flourish in your local area. The resource brings together experience, passion and encouragement to start or develop a parent and toddler group.
Parent and toddler groups are the second most attended activity across the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory of The Salvation Army (after Sunday worship services) with around half of all corps offering one. Get SET! brings together safeguarding, intergenerational activities and planning into one guide while still keeping focussed on nurturing relationships.
On this webpage you will find the complete guide as well as the individual sections to use in your local space.
If you have any questions about Get SET! or need help getting started please email: familyministries@salvationarmy.org.uk
